Grimshaw is a multi-award-winning international architecture practice that is committed to excellence. The senior team wanted to offer more services to more sectors in the UK and so came to us to establish perceptions in specific sectors, identify market opportunity and devise a comprehensive marketing and PR strategy.


Bespoke marketing communications

Grimshaw, as part of its growth strategy, required bespoke marketing communications and BD strategies for specific sectors. To date, we have created strategies for the education and sport sectors.


Uncovering value

For each sector, we set clear goals and devised a bespoke set of questions designed to uncover areas of value, ways to improve, opportunities for new business, competition and market opportunity. We undertook a series of interviews by telephone or virtual meeting platform with key clients, project team members and influencers of work. We also used the exercise as an opportunity to educate interviewees about Grimshaw’s sector expertise, experience and service offer.


Future growth

The resulting report included extensive analysis, which informed the associated marketing strategy. It set out objectives, proposition, positioning, key messages and a bespoke marketing communications approach to the target sector, designed to demonstrate expertise and make Grimshaw attractive to prospects. We also crafted testimonials from the calls to reinforce key messages and sourced client approval.
